Hotels
There are A LOT of hotels in Charleston, and August is not a major tourist season so you may be able to find a great deal at a unique place. All of the wedding festivities are taking place in downtown Charleston, so if you want to stay close, look for hotels that advertise that they are on the peninsula. There are rooms blocked at Meeting St Inn and the Mills House Hotel, call by July 8 for the wedding rate. The hotels are very near each other and are just a few blocks from the reception venue.

Other places to stay?
We don't have rooms blocked but can recommend the Ashley Inn for the B&B lovers, and Charleston's Not So Hostel for the European backpacker in all of us. Both of these are within walking distance of the ceremony venue!
